CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS

Rossendale Meeting House, Rawtenstall.

New entrance reception area to existing Meeting House with new aluminium glazed framework, renew timber flat roof and associated modifications to external work areas, existing ramps steps and handrailing.

NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT IN BURNLEY FOR CALICO HOUSING PART OF CALICO GROUP LIMITED

 

Completed in November 2022 a new housing scheme on the site of the former Woodbine Mill in Sycamore Avenue, Burnley for Calico Homes. The development comprises a variety of housing units ranging from new semi-detached homes with terraced properties and a separate apartment block.

 

FBC acted a Civil and Structural Consultant in designing new site drainage for adoption by United Utilities including drainage diversions and surface water attenuation/storage on site. External works with Lancashire County Council adoptable roads to the development and anew vehicle site access off the existing highway. Building plot foundations together with superstructure including suspended floors and roofs. Other associated works involved design of masonry retaining walls and demolition and relocation of an existing electricity sub-station on the site.

Boundary Outlet – Sheffield

 

Completed March 2022.

Structural consultant for modifications to existing retail outlet store involving incorporating new shop units within store together with forming of new glazed shop window frontages and separate internal refurbishment of store restaurant area.

Undertaking of Principal Designer role under CDM 2015 Regulations and liaison with all parties particularly as construction works were undertaken during store trading hours with all appropriate Health and Safety measures implemented.

Development For Calico Group Limited

 

Completion in Sept 2021 of new housing scheme . A development for Calico Group Limited.  Conversion of former derelict Perseverance Mill office building in Padiham, near Burnley into 10 No. self-contained, one-bed apartments and restoration of former adjoining property into 2-bed terraced dwelling.  Structural works involved new foundations to internal walls, new ground bearing floor slab with suspended timber first floors.  External works included new foul and surface water drainage systems, new external carpark area with new Lancashire County Council adopted pavement crossover and resurfacing of existing adopted adjacent pavements and highways.  Working in the local community to bring disused buildings back into service

Flexipol Packaging Ltd, Haslingden, Rossendale, Lancashire.

 

Recent completion in May 2021 of a new reinforced concrete piled foundation base supporting 3No.70Tonne Silos and incorporating associated reinforced concrete retaining walls and step details.

 

Concrete foundation works complete with commencement of installation of silos.

Project: River wall repairs River Spodden, Edgemoor Close, Shawforth, Rochdale.

Client: Together Housing Group, Halifax.

 

Collapse of river wall in Spring 2019 during local floods.
Together Housing Group appointed FBC to design new river wall.
Liaison with Environmental Agency on works in an adjacent to main River.

 

Works to new wall commenced in spring 2020 with completion in January 2021.
FBC carried out regular site inspections to confirm construction was carried out in accordance with issued drawings.
FBC also acted as Principal Designer on the project in accordance with CDM 2015 Regulations.

Flagship Store for Three Mobile on Oxford Street London.

 

Works included the design of major structural alterations to a seven storey building.

Installation of replacement stone cladding to external columns

 

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Meeting House, Dewsbury

New Research and Development Centre for Warburtons Limited, Bolton completed in June 2019.

 

FBC are proud to have been the Principal Designers for the project.

Brand new 28 bedroom residential care home facility opened November 2018 for Calico Group in Whitworth near Rochdale.

 

Francis Bradshaw Consulting Limited, Chartered Structural and Civil Engineers engaged as Structural and Civil Engineering Consultant on the project

Residential Development of Detached and Semi-Detached properties at Hilltop in Accrington, Lancashire

 

 FBC designed foundations, drainage and external areas including all tree protection works.

Mercedez Benz Sales + Vehicle Servicing Facility at Metz Way, Gloucester

 

FBC are delighted to announce their appointment as Structural and Civil Engineering Design Consultants for a new and exciting expansion by Mercedes Benz of their sales and vehicle servicing facilities at Metz Way, Gloucester.  Construction work started in November 2015 and was completed in July 2016. Photographs show stages of construction and the completed development which includes a showroom, workshops, offices, external service yard and a sustainable urban drainage scheme.

Construction Works completed on time and within the Client’s budget.
